Anyhow, the overhang of a judgment for giant damages would make it impossible for Hikma to operate. The banks would take one look at that overhang and pull all their lines. Their credit rating would plummet to junk instantly. You can't operate in the modern financial world in that condition.

Hence, they would need to find a way out. And if Amarin were smart, they'd help them find a way. Bankrupt companies can't pay damages.
