To add to this. Both my wife and I couldn’t tell which car you are driving, the 2018 or the 2023 with the exception of their color.
They drive the exact same.
However in the winter the 2018 heats the car faster because it heats it with a heating element vs the heat pump.
We keep her car in the garage plugged in during the colder winter days pre heat it and thus the loss from the cold is minimal.

The one feature that I love the best is in hot summer weather if you pre cool the car from your phone it takes very little time to do so.
The advantage that it has is that unlike a gas car it turns its ac compressor and condenser fan at a high rpm to attain the desired temperature faster. Where a gas car with this feature is limited to idle rpm of it’s engine for its compressor.
In a restaurant I have learned to use the feature when the waitress brings the check back to sign and not when she first brings the check. I can also do the same thing as I exit a mall walking to the car. It might not be cold but it’s a far cry from the 112 degrees that it was when I exited the mall.
I often say that it’s not as much that Elon was smarter than the other manufacturers, it’s more that he caught them in their complacency mode.
My wife clocks out at 6pm every day. In both the summer and winter, her car is programmed to cool or heat the cabin at 5.58.
She never gets into a car that the seat is hot because the vents are programmed to aim down at the seats when it’s being requested to cool the car.
