Yup, it seems stuck at 7. With your post, it shuffled all the others down and stayed stuck there.

On other boards it appears in other positions on the first page, but most are in 7th. I even see it placed for me on boards that haven't had a post in years and years. So, it obviously isn't actually on the message list for each board. It just gets served up inserted in that position for each individual member when they load the page.
