You also misconstrue: there is no such thing as Pro Rata Shares.

There is such thing as a pro rata amount of shares.

In the case of Xerisnt’s right to own XTI common shares, Xeriant had a right to a proportional (pro rata) amount of 10% of XTI shares equivalent to the percentage of $10M paid as funded by Xeriant.
