How you can let Stanek lose the most important game of the year is a question answered by the words, "pack your bags, you don't work here no more". Mendy isn't a easy guy to dislike, but that one decision to put the ball in Stanek's hands is too much IMO.
That said, there was a bit of bad luck on Pete's shot to left with the bases loaded, but Soto's weak DP groundout and McNeil's pathetic K had nothing to do with bad luck.
Sorry you had to endure this season. It'll be very interesting to see where the axe falls, because there's no way this team can return with this roster and this coaching staff
