Vientos better be playing today. he has great numbers against this guy, plus he is simply a better hitter than maurcio at this point. But considering marte has cooled off a little lately if you want to have maurcio man 3rd base than DH Vientos, you can do that as well. It is painfully obvious over the last several years to me the gm doesn't like Vientos as a player, than again this is the same gm who liked frankie montas, so his evaluations since he has come to NY have been a bit questionable to say the least. I happen to think if given the chance everyday I expect vientos to be really good in year 3 plus he is a bat when he gets hot that can do damage, but the gm once again is worried about defense. the funny thing he is worried about defense yet they don't play good, well defense. Hmmmm.
