If the mets want to copy the 2007 story in the last series of the year this is how they do it.

1) Play the marlins the last 3 games. check.

2) Lose control of there own destiny on friday With a loss and team catching them winning. Check.

3) Win today and get help. Brewers still need to win a game to get the #1 seed, want to avoid dodgers/phillies as long as possible.

4) Lose tomorrow, and the reds win.

If they do that they can copy it. They are 2/4 of the way there the hard one is winning today or any game for that matter. Yikes.
