It is likely to start out in Spain

https://aerodynenorthamerica.com/

According to this map Aerodyne Group doesn’t have a foothold in Spain. But they are in North America which on the map shows cities in the USA, Canada and Mexico but it doesn’t show much.
Now i am speculating here but with OneMind Technologies and Dell already having projects here in the USA and MTi Mingothings with the metering box with Dell
Aerodyne Group could be trying to expand more in the USA with MTi Mingothings

the U.S. is actively in the process of upgrading and modernizing its national power grid. The effort is motivated by aging infrastructure, increasing demand (from things like EVs, data centers, renewables), climate change, and the need for resilience and clean energy.

State Modern Grid Deployment Initiative: Collaboration between federal and state governments that promotes “grid-enhancing technologies” (sensors, power flow control, high performance conductors) and modernizing existing lines (reconductoring, etc.), not just building new ones.

Key Programs & Investments

Here are some major federal programs and investments underway to upgrade the grid:
• Building a Better Grid Initiative: Launched in 2022, aims to spur development of new and upgraded high-capacity electric transmission lines. ?
• Bipartisan Infrastructure Law & Inflation Reduction Act: Provide funding for grid modernization, resilience, transmission expansion, grants for state/local/utility projects. ?
• Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP): A DOE program funding grid-resilience (against extreme weather, natural disasters) and innovation in transmission, distribution, and grid technologies. ?
• Grid Modernization Initiative (GMI): Research, development, and demonstration of technologies to make the grid more flexible, secure, resilient, and better integrated with renewables and storage. ?
• State Modern Grid Deployment Initiative: Collaboration between federal and state governments that promotes “grid-enhancing technologies” (sensors, power flow control, high performance conductors) and modernizing existing lines (reconductoring, etc.), not just building new ones.

Progress & Examples
• Over $30 billion invested through federal legislation to support thousands of miles of new or upgraded transmission lines, resiliency, etc. ?
• $3.5 billion committed for 58 projects across 44 states under GRIP to strengthen grid reliability and resilience. ?
• DOE recently committed $1.3 billion to build three new interstate power lines crossing six states. ?
• Grants to utilities for “smart grid” upgrades: ex. ComEd received $50 million via GRIP to enhance grid reliability and clean energy delivery in Illinois.

Outlook
• The U.S. appears committed to continuing this effort; many of the goals are multi-year or multi-decade (e.g. clean electricity by 2035, net-zero by 2050).
• Over the next few years, we’ll likely see more investment in:
1. Flexible, grid-enhancing technologies (sensors, control systems, high-performance conductors)
2. Energy storage (batteries, etc.) to buffer intermittent renewables and improve reliability
3. Transmission expansion, especially interstate and cross-region lines, to move renewable energy from where it’s generated to where it’s needed
4. Hardening infrastructure (making lines resistant to storms, wildfires, etc.), as well as cybersecurity improvements.

On April 8, 2025, Trump signed an Executive Order titled “Strengthening the Reliability and Security of the United States Electric Grid”. That EO directs the Department of Energy (DOE) to use its authority (including under Section 202(c) of the Federal Power Act) to help ensure continuous electricity supply, especially in light of growing demand from areas like AI data centers.

More recently, the Trump administration launched a program to accelerate building generation + transmission infrastructure to respond to growing demand (AI, data centers, EVs). That implies further government coordination and potentially funding support.
