Nope, that picture is from Google Earth street view from Rte 6. The dirt "road" you think you see is the shoulder. Followed by a fence, then 3/4-mile of scrubland, then the Bishop Mill faintly in the distance. I don't think an 8 mile walk is "the closest mill to the center of any town" and something tells me you have never walked to it from a motel. And I suspect that hardly anybody in Bishop has ever heard of the mill out on Rudolph Road, seeing as how it has been abandoned for so many years. The old mill for the pumice mine half a mile to the north is probably a lot more interesting to folks who are out exploring.

Why do you keep making stuff up? I am starting to think you have never even been to Bishop. Or seen the mill.
