I decided not to post instructions for adding a battery replacement feature to the ActiPatch because it would be unethical, like posting instructions for hotwiring a Kia. It might even be illegal, and if it's not, it should be.
It's easier than expected because you don't have to remove the old dead battery. The close-up picture you provided shows quite clearly where the battery terminals are, and that's all you need.
I had Admin remove my previous posts because I felt I was giving away too much detail, and as I said, that would be unethical and possibly even expose iHub to legal action from Kelly.
If the company goes out of business, I'll post the instructions as a public service. Unless you keep trolling like you're doing here...... in which case the instructions might appear anonymously on the web using YOUR close-up picture, giving you credit of course, because it would be unethical not to cite you and give you all the credit you deserve.
I don't understand why you are trolling so hard to get me to publish those instructions, knowing it would damage the company's revenues. A lot of ActiPatch sales are from customers who read this board. I don't know why you want them modifying old ActiPatches when the battery runs out instead of buying new ones.
