I worked the bar/booze biz in late 80s early 90s so lots of late nights and too much drinking but I was very good at the latter. Looking after bands as the Beer sponsor/host. Bringing them on stage at 11 PM makes for a long night. also making sure lots of our beer backstage. Not a lot of big bands but a few big canadian bands. some I worked with were Tom Cochrane, Meatloaf, Eddie Money, Bryan Adams, Loverboy then your standard Canuck headliners Haywire, Trooper, April Wine, Honeymoon suite, and a slew of others I guess
Too funny I just googled top 50 Canadian Bands and SNOW was 50th. I golfed with him about 12 years ago as he was our celeb. they had April wine at 47th bullshit Bryan Adams 30th also a joke. The hip at 18th? Shania 7th? jesus
sadly was before the Sloan and Tragically Hip time . Imagine this I never saw them in concert but met them all.
I am now 60 and go to bed at 9 PM that is 2 hours before most of those bands went on LOL
