Seems you missed the full story. MHRA approved Yescarta for commercial use in 2018. NICE rejected coverage in 2018 as it was too expensive.
Only NICE's charity provided very restrictive support. The Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) acts like a charity fund for patient access with ongoing data collection.
Between December 2018 and October 2021, 318 patients received Yescarta via the CDF.

In January 2023, NICE approved Yescarta for routine use on the NHS for adults with relapsed or refractory DLBCL and PMBCL who had at least two prior therapies. Only about 200 patients per year receive treatment initially. NICE required Gilead to provide a significant subsidy or pricing arrangement for Yescarta to achieve coverage.

SO IT TOOK FIVE YEARS FOR NICE TO PROVIDE RESTRICTED REIMBURESMENT

Tell me how long can NWBO afford to wait to get NICE ACTUAL approval while paying highly subsidized pricing???
