The market size is not 2.5 billion people. Maybe it is 20m in the Western world and maybe 6m will become Anavex patients. And if 2-73 is approved then there will be competition (see GLP-1 for evidence of this.) If 2-73 is approved then Anavex as a stand alone company will be a distant memory in 2 years - maybe $100-$150 buyout price. All my opinion of course but it seems a bit crazy, doesn't it, to predict $1T in annual revenue for a therapy that is hoping to be approved by the skin of its teeth?
