Two throat swabs yesterday showed no infection. Rules out viral, bacteria, fungus. Points to autoimmune, where defense system turns against itself. Taking me off prednisone already, reversing ER decision to give 4d@2/d. Already weaning to 1 tomorrow, 1/2 next day, then none. Must be powerful stuff!

They believed skin condition not connected to swollen ankles, which i've had before from too much liquid, so that's gp's baby again. And mine. Today they took two skin samples and one skin swab. Results in couple of weeks. For another, have a reference to a pathology clinic tomorrow, lucky there is one that she said do all their stuff near the medical clinic i go to. The one they send all my stuff to. Next appt. 26th, the dermatology people i saw today. Good news all around as we know more.

Think about it doesn't matter if some is good, bad or terrible, if you learn more about it it's good news. LOL is ;what i've been telling all today here. See bottom:

Sooo, looks an autoimmune disease, as arizona1 had--
Years ago, I came down with an autoimmune skin reaction to antibiotics from a tooth infection and this stuff was a miracle drug.
Clobetasol propionate is a very strong (high potency) topical corticosteroid used to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused by skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce inflammation. It's available in various formulations including cream, ointment, and gel.

See more of ari's experience:
The prednisone should help while you're still on it. Once you're done taking it, the rash/itch might come back, but perhaps it will totally cure it and you'll be over and done with it.
My NOT conspiracy theory: I had an auto immune reaction to either a tooth infection or the antibiotics I took to cure it in 2017. I broke out in crazy, itchy blisters on my legs and a little on my arms that lasted for two entire freaking years. Nothing helped! So since that gets me and since America is suffering and since i mentioned above it doesn't matter how bad something is, if you learn more about it that's good news to America's autoimmunity problem. See:

Trump is ‘remarkably like’ 1930s far-right regimes, billionaire investor warns
"Felt it was Orwell in the first three sentences - "Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake." Guess it felt like that because we are experiencing it today more than we ever have before. It really is spot on isn't it ..

‘An autoimmune disorder’: how Trump is turning American democracy against itself
Read more > https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2025/may/25/trump-american-democracy
The businessman, who correctly predicted the 2008 financial crisis, condemns the Trump administration’s cost-cutting measures as likely to have negative consequences because “many people who will be hurt by them will fight back and valuable support systems will be weakened or eliminated”
[...]
Invoking a decade when fascists such as Adolf Hitler of Germany and Benito Mussolini of Italy were in power, Dalio writes: “When I say that the policies President Trump is using to ‘make America great again’ are remarkably like the policies that those of the hard-right countries in the 1930s used, that should not be controversial.”
P - He continues: “It would be fair to argue that his attempts to maximise the power of the presidency by bypassing the other branches of government are analogous to the ways that Andrew Jackson (of the right) and Franklin D Roosevelt (of the left) did, though he is even more aggressive than they were. We will see how far he will take it.”
