The prednisone should help while you're still on it. Once you're done taking it, the rash/itch might come back, but perhaps it will totally cure it and you'll be over and done with it.

My NOT conspiracy theory: I had an auto immune reaction to either a tooth infection or the antibiotics I took to cure it in 2017. I broke out in crazy, itchy blisters on my legs and a little on my arms that lasted for two entire freaking years. Nothing helped! Doctors were confounded. The only semi relief I received was the clobetasol I recommended to you for your problem. Fast forward to 2019 when covid popped up. It was brand new and there was little information about it. One of the things I read was about selenium. Someone I knew had taken selenium years before and had good results, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I continued to take it everyday and didn't think much about it but all of a sudden, six weeks later, the blisters were gone. Totally gone! My doctor just shook her head in disbelief. I'm not recommending this will help you or am I even sure it cured me. Maybe it was simply time for my blisters to die, but after suffering for two years, I have not had a blister since then. I still have the tube of clobetasol in the house and use it whenever something unexpected pops up. I ❤️ this stuff.
