of course FSD/Robottaxi raises safety concerns.
It is based on millions of hours of human drivers so will emulate the bad as well as the good driving practices.

as was shown day one in Austin with the "driving on eh wrong side of the road" video. Tesla was lined up to turn left at an intersection then realized it needed to be at the next on barely 100 yds away. so it moved forward on to the wrong side of the road until it got to the left turn lane at the right junction. Just like many humans would do

likewise stopping to drop off in the middle of a junction when initially stopped.in traffic - I am sure many have done that

I'm not a fan of the valuation at all as I don't see the real opportunity for robotaxi (will owners really offer their cars to be used?) and especially optimus.

Cant wait to see them introduce LIDAR - I saw china has lidar powered bug zappers - so cant be that expensive... just one LIDAR at roof level will improve things
