My favorite theory is we partner or sell a chunk of the company to a BP via the shares on the shelf.
We use this large cash infusion to begin a number of trials for various indications with multiple drugs from our pipeline.

In addition to sales, marketing and distribution, said BP runs 2 massive 10+ year studies (with built in look-ins with an eye toward early approval) with a n of 5000+ each for blarcamesine as a preventative drug
I think that's why the first poster from Mayo describes a 10 mg capsule.
In time, with billions of people taking a pill a day, the numbers are awesome.

If priced affordably, even when the patent protection ends and generics appear, who would switch?
I wouldn't, considering you only get one shot at this, a healthy adult couldn't even tell if it is working or not, and penny wise and pound foolish would seem a bad gamble..
