NICE evaluates drugs based on their incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER), which measures the cost per quality-adjusted life year (QALY) gained. Typically, a drug is considered cost-effective if it falls within the range of £20,000 to £30,000 per QALY, .

According to NWBO's phase 3 trial (Which many scientists question) the overall survival is about 16 months vs. 13 months for SOC . In my opinion there is no way NICE will pay an additional 150k - 250K to add 3 months (maybe) of life to a patient's life.
