I like your scenario, though it would be very unusual to announce an approval after the bell on Friday, that's normally when you throw out the garbage. If they were to do this, I also would wish they'd do the unorthodox thing of hosting a webcast on Saturday or Sunday to discuss the approval, and what will be upcoming. Often such webcasts are done before the open on Monday, but I'd really like to see it at a time when all could listen in, like middle of the day on Sunday.
Your suggested share prices may be a bit high unless there is a lot of additional news, and that could be what's discussed if they held a webcast. I do believe that we'll gap up and very probably have trade halted for a significant amount of time as the MM's try to balance their orders.
I hope none of the longs here sell too low, but I'm sure the temptation will be great. Personally I'll not put a share up for sale below $5, and those would be from the Roth if I believe it will retrench below that level. No less than $10 in the regular account.
