ATLnsider, Thanks for pointing out that NWBO had been working for the last several years to resolve a shortage of leukapheresis clinics in the UK. That was a very important problem that had to be resolved before commercialization! And it appears they solved it because it wasn't mentioned in the Annual or the 1st quarterly of 2025. Your quote, which is very accurate, is from the 3rd quarterly of 2024 ending September 31,2024, and addresses the need for leukapheresis stations throughout the UK. It also states that the second use for these clinics would be for compassionate use patients as the company expands that program.

Move forward to 2025 and this is what the company said in its compassionate use section:

Compassionate Use Program. The Company receives an ongoing stream of requests from patients and physicians for compassionate use of its DCVax products for a variety of cancers and patient situations. The Company has been operating a Specials program in the UK for a number of years to try to help brain cancer patients where it can. During 2024, the Company established collaborations with several private clinics in London to enable the Specials program to be expanded and increased. The Company is in the process of making the operational arrangements to implement these clinic collaborations for an expanded program. The Company is also working on significant cost reductions. The Company believes that having these private clinic arrangements in place will also be quite helpful for initial potential commercialization.

Again, emphasis on compassionate care. Management discusses expanding the compassionate care program, which is exciting news, in terms that are quite obviously about providing DCVax-L for those patients, and then
WOW!...just drops that last sentence: "...having these private clinic arrangements in place will also be quite helpful for initial potential commercialization."

ATLnisder, I was quite familiar with the fact that NWBO was lining up clinics for leukapherasis last year, so when I was corrected about this particular sentence being about creating leaukapheerasis centers earlier this year, I didn't really argue back. But now I'm convinced the company resolved that problem andmoved on and is so close to commercialization when they wrote it, they included commercialization as a possibility in its annual report.
Keep in mind, if the company is operating compassionate care out of a facility, they can also operate commercialization, particularly now that the new regs are in place. Then those clinics become the first of the spokes in NWBO's franchise company!
Now I understand why it was so important to hold approval of DCVax-L up until the new regs were in place (on Wednesday).
This is my humble opinion. Either of us could be correct since they are both contained in NWBO filings, just indifferent SEC reports.
