I'm being somewhat tongue in cheek. I agree it sounds a bit wild. in this scenario my interpretation is: - most of the money is for a list of people written down on the will this guy knew personally - sounds like there is at least some money coming for current / long shareholders (albeit dead shares) who didn't lip off about Bioamber publicly - said nothing about former shareholders - not involving the previous company at all - the mention of someone's shares, as he put it, was used as a vehicle of discovery not the reason of payment - plausible, but still sounds like a story you would tell a group of people hungry for anything other than nothing to get a good reaction haha
