No, Uber said select individuals will receive a monetary amount.
The amount is not from "the company" and it's not payment for shares.
While it's a bit crazy, it's entirely plausible.
Good for Uber & good for those that receive money if that happens.
It's not for everyone, it's not "for" former shareholders and it's not coming from the former company.
