TJ By you saying your parents bought the set of Encyclopedia's gives away your old age.
LOL with that said my parents bought the complete set too.

And yes the teachers knew who had them without asking. We had to learn to use them as a guide and put the information in our own words.

What is your opinion on Mr Francesc Domingo being able to be CEO of a US Public Company while living in Spain?

Google search says there is no requirement to live in the USA to be CEO of a US public company

No Universal Residency Requirement: There are no specific US federal or state laws that mandate a CEO of a publicly traded company reside in the United States.
Focus on Corporate Registration and Operations: The location of the CEO is typically not tied to the jurisdiction of the company's registration or operations, unless specifically required by the company's internal regulations or contracts.
Practical Considerations: While not a legal requirement, it is often practical and beneficial for a CEO to reside near the company's headquarters or key operational centers for easier oversight and management.
Non-US Citizen CEOs are Common: Many major American corporations have CEOs who were born outside the US and immigrated to lead these companies. Some of these prominent examples include Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sundar Pichai (Google), and Ajay Banga (Mastercard).
Potential Impact on Work Visas: While a non-U.S. citizen living abroad can function as a CEO and shareholder of a U.S. corporation, working within the U.S. without proper documentation (like a work visa) is generally not permitted.
S-Corp Limitations: It's important to note a specific exception for S Corporations, where non-resident aliens are not allowed to be shareholders.
In summary: A US public company CEO is not legally required to live in the US, and many major US corporations have foreign-born CEOs. However, practical considerations and potential work visa requirements should be considered.
