Greetings from Grass Valley,

Today's trip was a learning experience as it was the first time I've needed to charge my EV on the road. The biggest thing I learned was that Lexus needs to get those Tesla adapters. There were hundreds of empty Tesla sites to be found while we had to work to find others, but ultimately we did. Unfortunately not in Harris Ranch, where we wanted to eat while charging. It was on the other side of the freeway so we settled for a Denny's. We also learned that when asking the car to find a nearby charger you need to specify fast charging. All and all we got where we were going, the cost was probably half of gas, but we probably took more than an hour longer.

Let's hope that tomorrow is a better day than Friday for NWBO. I like the odds of something good happening in July. We'll be in Grass Valley till the middle of the month.
