In 2019, Merck spent $300M to acquire Immune Design (G100, GLAAS® TLR4 agonist) a deal aligned with cold tumor strategies.
If Mainz showed DCVax-L accomplishing the same or better, it would threaten that investment, hence the deletion of all public trace.

In other words, Merck assumed Immune Design would have wanted much much more than $300m, if Merck showed public excitement and successful data with G100 + Keytruda +DCVAX
