I mean honestly its fine that it takes longer, but its generally better practice to under promise and over deliver. There is likely a reason it isn't out yet but I wish they would give themselves a bit more breathing room on timelines. I mean this has happened several times now with things and it would go better for them if they just gave a wider breath for timelines instead of by this day for sure cause even if its delayed one day for whatever reason it leaves shareholders wondering what the hell is going on. Like It could drop today after hours which would be somehwat disappointing cause pre-market is better I think, but still. If it would have been framed like we are gonna drop a PR within the next two weeks and then it comes early this week it looks stellar, But saying no later than Monday and it doesn't come just lets people down unnecessarily. Its just any easy thing to avoid. Ultimately it doesn't reflect the result of the merger but shareholder confidence/sentiment can definitely be shaken by it just by pulling through later than expected even.
