U-505 submarine, which is a German U-boat permanently exhibited at the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) in Chicago.
The U-505, a Type IXC U-boat, was captured during World War II and is now the only one of its kind preserved in its original wartime condition in the United States. The exhibit at MSI allows visitors to explore the sub and learn about its history and capture.
