It's just wild to me that this requires a public comment period. How many bureaucrats and lawyers are we paying with our taxes to gum up the works. I support checks and balances and environmental protections... but this is merely an extension of a deadline! The order specifically states DOE will not consider comments unrelated to the bare extension of a deadline. Speaking of, my thumbs are bare from all this twiddling.
