Keep in mind as you calculate that Google Search Labs says it costs $1,490 to extract an ounce of gold from Colosseum:

The Colosseum Gold Mine's scoping study suggests that the cost to extract an ounce of gold is around $1,490 using the all-in sustaining costs (AISC) metric, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. The study also indicates that the gold price assumption is $2,900 per ounce according to Stock Titan.

There is also a huge startup cost to get equipment in place.
