Yes, I remember when Omacor was approved in 2004. The name changed to Lovaza in 2007. I had numerous customers who were looking for an alternative. Not sure if it was because of cost or lack of insurance. For a couple of years I really had nothing to offer them in terms of dosage per pill. But it must have been somewhere while it was still called Omacor that a couple of manufacturers started to market higher concentrations of omega-3s pretty darn close to the Omacor formula, giving me the opportunity to satisfy those customers. An easy sell.
