Yes, that's why I said it's completely out of my league. I don't actually understand all the nuances and don't claim to know. I just think that region would be a much safer place if Israel could find a way to somehow align with their neighbors, instead of just lobbing bombs everywhere. The same goes for their counterparts.

Again, I understand the underlying turmoil but don't claim to know it all and I'm not sure if it could ever happen but I agree with you. There should be peace in the region. A lot of time and resources have been wasted on fighting this disgraceful holy war and why it doesn't just stop is not for me to decide.

We have mosques here that are a block away from christian churches and that hasn't bothered anyone aside from the hardline christians. I'm not saying that the anger doesn't spread through the muslim community as well but they seem to be the ones that are paying the ultimate price for all this nonsense and it doesn't need to be this way.

I think it's more about politics than religion these days but I'm just looking in from the outside. To be fair Israel is just a tiny pea compared to the rest of the nations that surround them and if it wasn't for the United States, they couldn't have ever became the force that they are today.

It had to absolutely burn BiBi's britches to see Trump sword dancing with those folks and I won't even venture to guess what will happen next.
