GGB, thanks for going the extra mile. I always like to check original sources, so thanks for sending us the spreadsheet. And thanks for your effort to find out exactly what MHRA meant by what they said; that's important. It's good for posters to check and recheck each other.

So, to replay GoodguyBill's words:

2. On the NHS High-Cost Drug list, regarding Murcidencel (i.e. DCVax-L), it directly states "MEDICINES NOT REIMBURSED THROUGH NATIONAL PRICES AND COMMISSIONED BY NHS ENGLAND/CDF/IMF".
2a. The verbiage, "MEDICINES NOT REIMBURSED THROUGH NATIONAL PRICES", means these medicines are not covered under the standard national pricing framework (which typically applies to routinely commissioned treatments funded centrally by NHS England/NICE).

2b. The verbiage, "AND COMMISSIONED BY NHS ENGLAND/CDF/IMF", means that while Murcidencel is approved for treatment of “Cancer” (not just glioblastoma-- see the 'INDICATION" column), they require alternative government funding mechanisms via NHS England, Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) and Innovative Medicines Fund (IMF) on a case-by-case basis (i.e. “AS PER IFR APPROVAL”).

And yes, this is a big deal:

1. The NHS (our equivalent to our FDA) added Murcidencel to the High-Cost Drug List. THIS IS APPROVAL!!!
