That statement wasn't from an official company PR. It was a hopeful comment from an executive, who obviously wasn't in tune with the lengthy MHRA process... or perhaps the delay effects of potential nefarious influences. In these days of widespread corruption, I wouldn't put it past BP or BP-influenced government orgs to foot-drag the process, especially if they are favoring BP-owned mRNA solutions.
