Yes. That's why discontinuing the penny makes sense in cash form. You said you worked at a gas station before so you know how tight the margins are. I only know from talking to the owners now but they really don't profit off of the gas they sell, it's all the other crap on the shelves that they make money off of. Nowadays the places around here have video slot machines that rake in most of the revenue along with everyone getting a liquor license.

Our society is a mess of excess and I think that most normal people who don't pay attention are in for a world of hurt this year. If my utility bills start getting rounded up to the next nickel, then I will be concerned but until then it's just like his stupid crypto crap.
