Trump has been discussing the creation of a big federal sovereign wealth fund where federal dollars, in massive amounts, would be used to purchase and actually own shares, or companies outright, that produce energy, minerals, and pharmaceuticals. Profits would accrue to the federal treasury, as new non-tax revenues.

Indeed, if Trump knew and understood how Anavex’s drugs will be able to prevent and treat the indications targeted in the Anavex drug pipeline he’d very likely have the new U.S. sovereign wealth fund take a substantial AVXL position. Everyone but the legacy pharmaceuticals trying to solve Alzheimer’s with their inordinately expensive and therapeutically weak monoclonal antibody drugs would benefit profoundly.
