lj: UPS's guidance should be a very good forward indicator of what is happening with the economy. I can tell U for a fact that there are far fewer deliveries in this area. UPS, Fedex and Amazon might appear in this neighborhood once a day; rarely multiple times a day as they have in the past. Saw something new today--a Walmart delivery truck. Seeing that might give people the idea to sign up for Walmart's version of Amazon Prime. Walmart is a recession play, but the PE is too high for my taste. OT: Going to buy peat moss today. The last time I bought some, I got it at last year's price. Might be 25 percent higher tomorrow.
