I agree. But there is something else going on here. This whole understandable panic here is based on someone claiming that in the March MHRA minutes only 3 applications were backlogged. indicates that there are only 3 applications backlogged. NO number of applications is mentioned in the March 2025 minutes report. The LAST known backlogged number was from January 2025

As of January 2025, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) had reduced its backlog of national marketing authorisation applications for established medicines to 166. This figure represents the remaining overdue applications following the elimination of the original backlog of 1,167 applications, which was achieved in October 2024.

and from those 166 or so sure its always normal that

"a small number have got major objections which do preclude at this stage"

So I think we all should take a deep breath here.
