I like oxtail. I think the British version is also called oxtail stew, which may be more appropriate. It's very popular in Caribbean cooking, too.

Once upon a time, oxtail was cheap. A quick check shows it's $10.99 a pound at a local supermarket, and that isn't new. But surprisingly, another store had it for $5.99 a pound. A third didn't have it at all.
