The thing that really amuses me is the insistence on the 30-40% performance difference for Barcelona over C2D (we all know it's only the "important" BMs).

Witness:
"The next generation of product that we are introducing here, the real quad core, this is really a significant jump in all of those benchmarks, and we are pretty excited and pretty thrilled that we are looking at numbers of 3 and 4 decades of points, you know 30-40% improvement from what we have seen in the market and anticipate seeing in the market."

I find it hard to believe that a CEO will lie through his teeth, but I think we found one. If untrue, this is an out and out lie which can later be verified. He has absolutely no credibility with the analysts. You can tell from listening to both audiences for AMD and Intel. The questions were pressing for Ruiz and complementary toward PO.
