Genuinely I think the post-Brexit challenges to a lot of UK institutions explains the situation adequately. Just a lot of delays not necessarily related to this application, per se.

It's possible that routine inquiries are taking extra time, given NWBO's shortstaffed situation, consistent with payments to consultants in 2024. And with a novel treatment modality like this one, I wouldn't be shocked at all if a regulator had a lot of questions.

And the fact that NWBO has not had a shot to be through this process before could mean that they're more likely to have a slow response.

All of that is speculation, of course, but it would make sense and consistent with what we're seeing here without an actual rejection notice.
