Trump and Musk threatened every Republican in the Senate of getting primaried and taken out if they voted against any of Trump's nominees. Otherwise, Kennedy, Hegseth, Gabbard, etc. would never have been confirmed.

Yes. I suppose it never occurred to them to get together and defy Trump and Musk. Especially Musk, who is increasingly disliked.

I suppose some of them do have constituents so unintelligent they actively WANT to lose their Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid, but I doubt they're the majority.
