Yes. It's odd and hard to describe. But it's just not clear to me what he thinks he's accomplishing, apart from pissing people, not all of them Democrats, off. Why rant for months about problems at our borders and then conduct a sudden and pretty devastating purge at DHS??

And apart from these sudden actions, what's he doing? He gives long presentations/question and answer sessions nearly every day. Sometimes he does press conferences by himself or with a top aid or a foreign actor. But what actually happens?

Nothing. It's really peculiar.
