I read this over on Reddit about this DTCC “System Disruption” business:
“Did anyone other than me actually read this?
This appears to be nothing more than the DTC trying to change some of the terms that are used. This doesn't make any changes to any actual procedures. It's like saying apples are being removed from America because the grocery stores now call them red delicious apples instead of apples. It's the same apples.
It's literally just stating that certain events and agencies will be called something else in new documents. This is how Federal documents are written.”
I have to say I did not read it. But there seems to be quite a few people that think it’s no big deal.
