DAR, look at it this way, it is better than de-listing.

De-listing would have been a sure sign they wanted to take private, because a de-listing takes even more control out of the hands of shareholders.

I think the 20-1 split is a sign that they want the price to come down even further, get rid of some retail shareholders, and then either buy more shares themselves, start the BB, or both.

Having significantly fewer shares and shareholders also makes the process of selling/merging easier.

And a much higher stock price makes the stock much more attractive to institutional investors and mutual fund managers. It may also allow AMRN to be added back to some funds (especially small cap and biotech index funds) that exclude penny stocks by prospectus.

To be honest, I actually think this might be a good thing overall.
