Surveillance footage captured the moment a vehicle sped down a street in Modesto on Tuesday before it crashed into a tree and caught fire.
A woman driving the Tesla was killed in the crash, police said.

had earlier been involved in a collision at the intersection of K Street and 6th Street. KOVR-TV said a member of its news crew was involved in the collision and was OK.
The vehicle then lost control at the intersection at 4th Street. The driver hit a parked car before the Tesla became engulfed in flames.
