I'm not sure what temperature is needed but it is not a perfect relationship between Tg and long-term high temperature exposure. I recall 125 degrees C is the target for reliability testing for CPO. For pluggables, that number is 85 degrees.

At Optica PECC this past fall, Atikem told Brad Booth in a Q&A that Perkinamine is not suitable for CPO right now. The context of Brad's question was on the temperatures. I'd have to listen again for the exact wording.

CPO has been 2 years away for the last 10 years. It's finally here for real. It'll probably take another 2 years to reach widescale use.
