So, I'm sort of confooosed. I thought Carbonmeta was the ONLY company that supposedly created or made EarthCrete. APPARENTLY not! THIS company sells (and/or makes EarthCrete.). Sonoma Cast Stone - https://www.sonomastone.com, makers of earthcrete™ recyled concrete. And then there is a website called Earthcrete.com but it looked like a bogus site.

How Beforepay’s AI model drives strong returns

Beforepay Group Ltd Finance Manager Shreya Prakash talked with Proactive about the company’s dual focus on domestic consumer lending and enterprise software through its Carrington Labs division. She explained that Beforepay’s core product—a pay advance offering—provides short-term loans with a fixed 5% fee and no hidden costs, aiming to support Australians with transparent and ethical lending. Prakash said, “The most common reason people borrow from us is not because they want to go for a vacation... but to tide them over that short-term cash flow pinch.” She highlighted that this flagship product, launched in 2020, remains central to the business and differentiates itself through its ethical model and efficient cost structure. Carrington Labs, the company’s AI and analytics arm, is productising the risk models that power Beforepay and expanding operations in the US. Prakash noted that the company is writing around 40,000 loans with just 50 staff, underlining a strong operational efficiency. Billy Cheung, also from the finance team, added that Beforepay became profitable in the first half of FY23. He reported revenue approaching A$20 million and net profit of A$2.8 million in H1 FY25. Notably, the company reduced net defaults from around 3% to just 1.1%, attributing this to improved credit risk models. Cheung also mentioned growth in personal loan offerings and continued investment into Carrington Labs. OKYO Pharma achieves key stability milestone for Urcosimod in clinical development

OKYO Pharma CEO Gary Jacob joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share a significant advancement in the company’s ongoing drug development efforts. The company has successfully demonstrated that urcosimod—formerly known as OK-101—remains stable for more than two and a half years in single-use ampoules, which are used for patient administration. This milestone is a crucial step forward in ensuring the long-term viability of the drug as it progresses through clinical trials. Urcosimod is currently being evaluated in a Phase 2b clinical trial, which is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-masked study involving 48 patients. The trial is focused on assessing the drug’s effectiveness in treating neurotrophic keratopathy (NCP), a serious and progressive degenerative eye disease. Jacob emphasized that achieving success in clinical development extends beyond obtaining positive clinical trial data. A crucial aspect of regulatory approval includes meeting the rigorous Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) requirements set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). By demonstrating long-term stability, OKYO Pharma has strengthened its regulatory submission package, addressing an essential factor in the drug’s future approval and commercialization. The company recently completed Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) stability assay testing of single-use ampoules containing urcosimod in an ophthalmic solution. The results were highly promising—ampoules stored under refrigerated conditions maintained stability for over two and a half years, while initial three-month data from samples stored at room temperature showed potency levels at or above 100%. These findings reinforce confidence in urcosimod’s shelf life and its potential for real-world clinical use. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Caledonia Mining sees big profit jump in 2024; welcomes gold's move above $3,000

Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL) chief executive Mark Learmonth talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s strong 2024 financial performance and strategic priorities following the release of its latest results. Learmonth reported a “strong end to a reasonably good year,” with annual gold production reaching approximately 78,000 ounces—within guidance—supported by favourable pricing. He highlighted that “gross profit for the year was 77 million, compared to 41 million last year,” with adjusted earnings per share rising sharply from less than $0.10 in 2023 to nearly $1.30 in 2024. The results were delayed due to a technical accounting issue, with Learmonth explaining this stemmed from a deferred tax calculation error dating back to 2019. He stressed it had “no impact on our actual tax liabilities and tax payments.” On project development, the feasibility study for the Bilboes project has been extended to evaluate options that could significantly reduce capital costs. These include the potential to export concentrate and relocate the tailings facility, potentially lowering upfront investment needs. Exploration at both Blanket and Motapa returned positive results. Learmonth noted that the Blanket resource base has been extended, and early work at Motapa uncovered “exciting mineralisation” in new areas. With gold prices currently above $3,000 per ounce, the company is focused on maximising cash flow and investing further in Blanket and other revenue-generating opportunities.
