I'm in 10k shares @ $7.13 this technology is quite impressive.

It takes an X-ray from multiple angles (kind of like a few cameras on your cell phone) and if an organ, a cast, fluid from an adema, a rod, a screw or object is above or below in today's technology you get "noise" this enables the technical to focus above or below the "noise" for a clearer image. Place your finger in the air and focus on your finger, open and close your eyes, notice how you can see what is behind that finger.

Look at the 18:00 minute mark (watch it for a few minutes) in this video for a reason that every facility is going to have one of these.
While CT scans do today use multiple angles resolution is .6 to .4 at best for CT scans, Tomosynthis (Tomo) is .1 to .2 .

Looks like it does not replace todays CT's, MRI's there are advantages and disadvantages for all three but the physician will need to order DTS in addition to properly diagnose problems.

It can also diagnose pneumonia days earlier, even characterize some abnormalities quickly, so they can either be addressed or ignored. We all know how that goes, "we think we see something?" and they order test after test.

X Thoughts?
