gfp: I wish I could post today's Rinear essay. It basically outlines all the Central Bank purchases of Gold in the last several years. He ends with his prediction of $3500 gold and $75 silver after the next leg up in the metals. He's a buyer, especially of silver. I'm holding strong on almost all my precious metal mining positions. I did sell half my GLDG to buy UVXY a month ago. GLDG has been the worst performer in my portfolio. I still have half. If it does nothing this year I'll dump the remaining half and redirect the money elsewhere. I'm keeping all my energy plays as well. They take turns rallying, then dropping. But I have to think the overall direction will be higher as energy is so vitally important to everything else.
