Thanks for the insight.

When we had 90+ degree temps I approached my letter carrier (don't call them mainmen!!) and joked about the lack of A/C in those old heaps. He pointed to the fan and said "even that doesn't work."

They are paid decently from what I understand and they get a pension so those that stick it out are rewarded in the end.
